This guide shows the way to update or sync the Changed Features and UI of your app without re-publishing the app to Apple Store and Google Play.
"The default minimum fetch interval for Remote Config is 12 hours, which means that configs won't be fetched from the backend more than once in a 12 hour window, regardless of how many fetch calls are actually made." (Ref: Get started with Firebase Remote Config). That means maybe your app can't load and apply the new setting from Firebase as soon as you sync the new version with Firebase. You can reinstall the app to fetch new data.
Follow steps below:
1. Execute the Firebase Settings
Create your project on Firebase. Then add Android App and iOS App into your project following this guide Firebase Settings. (Skip this step if you already did)
2. Create a new private
This step helps to generate a new private key to use for configuring updates to Firebase Remote Config.
Step 1: open firebase console your project https://console.firebase.google.com/

Step 2: Add role “Firebase Remote Config Admin”:
Manage service account permissions:
- Find a
Namethat matches the member name in the Firebase Console:
- Click the edit icon:
- Add new Role with Role is

Step 3: Now we go back to the firebase console to download the key by clicking the Generate new private key button:
3. Execute the Firebase Remote Config
You can update or sync the Changed Features of your app without re-publishing easily on the drag&drop FluxBuilder for free.
Remember to sync the latest settings with Firebase whenever you make changes.
Now, open your app on FluxBuilder. Go to
Firebase Remote Config, enable the
Firebase Remote Config, refer to the
Firebase remote config.json file which is the downloaded key file in Step 3:
The system will load to see if your project has configs. If it is a new project you will not be able to choose the version. Otherwise, you will have 2 options:
ADD NEW VERSIONto create the latest config.
- Select the version and click
LOAD VERSIONto reload the old version.
Finally, click the button
Apply in the upper right corner to update data and select
Save. Now when you build your app, the features and UI of your app will follow the Remote Config on Firebase, so whenever you want to change the features/UI, just need to Apply here.
